in between days

In Between Days: Aimie, a newly arrived Korean immigrant teenager, has fallen in love with her best and only friend, Tran. She tries to express her feelings for him, but is scared of losing their friendship. Their misunderstood affection for each other creates a delicate relationship that is challenged by the demands of living in a new country. To spend more time with Tran, Aimie drops out of her English class, which she is failing. She fights against her mother who wants to remarry and then realizes shes losing Tran to an Americanized Korean girl. Aimies world becomes more isolated, until she is forced to look inside herself for answers.

princess mononoke Princess Mononoke: From the internationally renowned artist Hayao Miyazaki, Princess Mononoke is an exquisitely animated epic adventure that's received overwhelming acclaim.
Inflicted with a deadly curse, a young warrior, Ashitaka, sets out to the forests of the west in search of the cure that will save his life. Once there, he becomes entangled in a bitter battle that matches a proud clan of humans against the forest's animal gods, who are led by the brave Princess Mononoke, a young woman raised by wolves who's determined to save the forest at all costs.

Gojoe Gojoe: A sumptuous and at times super-charged swordplay fantasy, Gojoe puts the spin on one of Japan's most popular feudal legends: the battle at Kyoto's Gojoe Bridge. Though its multitude of characters and warring factions might make Gojoe somewhat confusing to Western eyes, the basic storyline is simple: warriors of the Heike clan get their heads chopped off by an invisible force at Gojoe bridge. Benkei, a former Buddhist monk plagued by the demons of his own past, sets out to destroy the evil force that lurks at Gojoe, aided by his graverobbing sidekick Tetsukichi. They soon discover that the perpetrator is in fact a young warrior, a former Heike lord named Shanao, out for revenge against his own clan which ordered the death of his family.
