Save The Green Planet: Byeong-Gu is a troubled young man who is convinced that aliens from Andromeda are taking over the earth. He's so sure of this that he kidnaps a local businessman that he believes to be the alien's leader, planning to torture him with exfoliating sponges and anti-insect bite lotion until he reveals the alien's entire plot. Is our hero a disturbed young man suffering some sort of mental illness? Absolutely, but he might also be right.
Warriors of Heaven and Earth: Set in the ferocious Gobi Desert, the story follows two protagonists, Lieutenant Li and Japanese emissary Lai Xi - both first-class warriors and master swordsmen. After decades of service to the Chinese Emperor, Lai Xi longs to return to Japan, but is instead sent to the West to chase wanted criminals. His only passport back to Japan is to capture and execute Lieutenant Li, a renegade soldier wanted for leading a violent mutiny when he refused orders to kill female and child prisoners.
Li and Lai Xi battle, but finally agree to delay their final personal fight until the caravan carrying Wen Zhu and a Buddhist monk is brought to safety. The monk, however, is carrying a sacred and powerful pagoda that attracts the attention of the region's ruthless overlord, Master An. Lai Xi and Lt. Li, accompanied by Li's former posse of soldiers, who have forsaken their peaceful new lives to return to his side, must face the cruelty of the desert, the region's barbaric bandits and the brutality of the overlord's men before they can finally face one another.
Twilight Samurai: Since the death of his wife, Seibei's main concern is for his family. Invitations for drinks with fellow workers are refused in favour of getting home, and Seibei earns the nickname 'Twilight Samurai'. Soon, a chance meeting with an old friend brings news of a lost childhood love, and a reunion makes an emotional impact upon both Seibei and his two daughters.
But the woman is still married and Seibei is forced to defend her honour by fighting the overbearing husband. As news of his fighting skills travels, Seibei is ordered by the ruling clan to serve as a Samurai in a matter of great importance.
Stylish, moving and evocative, The Twilight Samurai tells the tale of how a low ranking retainer whose struggle to keep his family, and maintain his honour without resorting to the violence he denounces, is tested at every level.
