11/09/2009: Leeds International Film Festival 09

What's on this year at the International Film Festival? Here's a sneak preview of some of the East Asian films that will be on.....

- Misseu Hongdangmu (Crush and Blush); South Korea. A romantic comedy produced and co-written by PARK Chan-Wook (I'm a cyborg, but that's OK).

- Ai no Mukidashi (Love Exposure), a four hour-long film which revolves around the shotacon from AAA being a high school boy who discovers that he has a supernatural, ninja-like gift for photographing panty shots while also incorporating, as its length necessitates, an evil religious cult fronted by ANDÔ Sakura and much else. This seems to be showing as part of a limited release across the UK which begins in October '09 and which will most certainly also get it some screenings in London.

- Jaji no Futari (The Two in Tracksuits), casting includes MATSUMOTO Jun.

- And another South Korean one, Chilgeup Gongmuwon (My Girlfriend is an Agent).
